Description
As a young mother of a large family, LuEtte Halladay became interested in computer use before personal computers were widely available to consumers. She found instructors willing to teach her and joined a computer group. She was probably the first Brigham City citizen to purchase her own computer. Her abilities have helped her in her employment -- first with the Brigham City Library's Literacy Program where she taught reading and computer-use to children. She currently works for Brigham City Corporation and does accounts payable, pays all bills for the City and answers the telephone. She computerized the financial data, which was previously done on a typewriter.
