Description
Sharon Brailsford, Executive Assistant for Brigham City Corporation, was named Outstanding Journalism Student at Bear River High School in Tremonton and wrote articles for the Leader, the local newspaper. Her employment history includes working as a secretary at Thiokol from 1961 to 1970 when she quit to be a full-time mother. In 1989 she was hired as secretary in the Brigham City Parks and Recreation Department and later became secretary to Mayor Clark Davis. She has continued in this position (now Executive Assistant) with two more mayors David Kano and Lou Ann Christensen. Discussion includes her various responsibilities and the changes in equipment with the coming of the electronic age.
