Description
Sharon Christensen was assigned to be an usher/tour guide during the Brigham City Temple open house. One of her duties there was taking a blind woman on the tour. Although for sighted guests, it was a silent tour, she had to explain and describe the surroundings vocally. The blind woman felt woods, floor tiles, wallpapers and carpets with her hands, and asked questions.
