Description
A photograph of the columbia school and the 4th ward amusement hall. It has a smaller building attatched to a larger building. You can see five windows in various states of decay. There is a person standing infront of the building, possibly Ruby Kotter Freeman.
The caption from the scrapbook reads: 4th ward Amusement Hall which was the columbia school, where I first began my education. Beginners, first and second grades. I went to the Emerson in 3rd ward for 3rd grade.
Second caption under the picture: Last jr. sunday school held here 6 july 1939.
